With more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, Carlos specializes in retirement income planning, asset protection strategies, tax-efficient distribution planning, and volatility reduction. He works closely with pre-retirees and retirees through a structured planning process focused on simplifying complex financial decisions and helping clients retire with greater clarity and confidence.

As an MDRT Top of the Table producer and CLTC designee, Carlos specializes in income planning, tax-smart strategies, legacy planning, and reducing unnecessary fees and market volatility. Additionally, he is the author of The Financial Fight, a retirement-planning-focused book that reflects his commitment to helping families make confident, well-informed decisions as they approach and enter retirement.

Carlos’s passion for retirement planning is deeply personal. After his grandfather, who served as the closest father figure in his life, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, Carlos witnessed firsthand the financial and emotional strain that can occur when families are unprepared. The experience shaped his mission to help others avoid preventable financial hardship by creating strategies centered on protection, preparedness, and long-term stability.

Known for his direct, practical, and relationship-driven approach, Carlos helps clients identify blind spots, stress-test existing strategies, and make thoughtful decisions around retirement income, taxes, market risk, healthcare costs, and legacy planning. His goal is to help clients move from uncertainty to a plan they can understand and trust while making work optional and retirement more predictable.

Originally from Puerto Rico and raised in a small town south of Boston, Carlos now lives in The Villages, Florida, with his wife, Joslyn, and their children. Outside of work, he and his family are deeply involved in their church, local community, and school programs, volunteering throughout the year. He has also trained in boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and MMA for more than three decades. Carlos centers his life around four priorities: faith, family, health, and serving clients with excellence.
